Welcome to my 7th and 8th grade English/Language Arts classes at Park Crest Middle School!
Here are a few facts about me:

This is my 14th year to teach English/Language Arts.

This is also my second year in Pflugerville ISD and at Park Crest Middle School, I am so excited to be part of such a great school and school district.

I earned a bachelor's degree in English and a bachelor's degree in Humanities from the University of Texas at San Antonio, which is also where I earned my secondary teaching certificate.

I earned my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University. I'm proud to be a Red Raider! #WreckEm

In addition to working in PfISD, I have had the honor of teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in Round Rock ISD and Cy-Fair ISD as well as Plano ISD. I really dig middle school!

While teaching in RRISD, I had the honor and privilege of being named Deerpark Middle School's Teacher of the Year in 2015.

I live in Cedar Park with with my husband, Eric, and two children who both graduated from Vista Ridge High School in Leander ISD and both now attend Texas Tech University. I also have three adorable miniature Dachshunds (Hans, Schmutzie, and George).
Now it's time for me to get to know YOU! I am so excited to have you in my class, and I look forward to an amazing year!
